Spring Egg Hunt

Held annually the Saturday before Easter, join us for this great family event!

Due to predicted weather, the Hunt has been postponed to Saturday, May 4 at Academy Field. Hunt time with be 6:00 pm for Sensory Friendly and 6:45 pm for Community Hunt. Enjoy complimentary hot chocolate, coffee, face painting and more. Combining two great family events, come early for the Egg Hunt and stay for Movie Night on Academy Field and the showing of Disney’s Coco, beginning at sunset. Pack a picnic, grab dinner from a Main Street restaurant or purchase Waffle Grilled Cheese sandwiches and homemade chips from EGHS students. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and enjoy a movie under the stars.

Join us on Saturday, April 11, at 6:00 pm, as Eldredge Field is speckled with hundreds of brightly colored eggs filled with candy and a few surprises, all just waiting to be gathered. All children age 12 and under are welcome to participate in this free event.

Divided into three age sections (0-3, 4-8 and 9-12), the hunt begins with a staggered start for each age group beginning with the youngest hunters. All participants should plan to arrive by 6:00 pm, however, as these little hunters move quickly!

In addition to the community hunt, a Sensory Friendly Hunt will be held beginning at 6:45pm for children with specific sensory needs. Participants are invited to gather near the bleacher area of the baseball diamond where eggs will be scattered in a larger, less crowded space.

Other activities include face painting and complimentary coffee and hot chocolate.

So that the event is fair and fun for all, we ask that baskets remain at home.
